Your gastronomic shopping on the Amalfi Coast must include the typical products of Cetara. Cetara is a small fishing village, renowned for its tuna and anchovy. The fish products par excellence are the “Colatura” (salted anchovy sauce) and the tuna fillets in olive oil. Its origins have very deep roots. The ancient Romans first produced a product very similar to today's Colatura and the same recipe was later taken up in the Middle Ages by monastic groups. Use the anchovy sauce and tuna fillets to season spaghetti or to prepare fish and vegetable dishes!
